Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has told chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak he won't outstay his welcome.
City slipped to eight points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool just eight games into the season after Sunday's calamitous home defeat to Wolves.
The City manager discussed his relationship with owner Khaldoon in a new book, 'Pep's City: The Making of a Superteam'.
"He knows I'd step aside if things weren't going to plan," Guardiola says in the book, according to The Sun.
“I'll give everything to avoid that and make every effort to move things forward. No coasting."
