Guardiola admits moving away from tiki-taka at Man City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits he's moved away from his possession-based style of game.

At Barcelona, Guardiola became known as the coach who brought tiki-taka to the world, while with Bayern Munich he introduced the false nine and played a possession game.

But with City, by his own admission, Guardiola has adapted to the demands of the Premier League and is playing a more direct style of football.

After victory over Everton this week, the Catalan was asked about the differences between the teams he's managed.

"City is a team that, if given the opportunity, can play more directly than Bayern and Barcelona," said Guardiola, pointedly.
