Gold Coast freeze out Melbourne Heart in drab affair

Gold Coast United have played out a scoreless draw with Melbourne Heart at AAMI Park in a mediocre affair. Few chances were created by either side during a disappointing 90 minutes.

Melbourne's best chances came from midfielders Rutger Worm and Nick Kalmar, though neither player tested Gold Coast keeper Glen Moss.

The stalemate leaves both teams in the top six, with Gold Coast now third and Heart in sixth place.

After the previous heights of Heart's derby crowd, just over 6,150 turned up at AAMI Park tonight.
