Geoff Cameron says Stoke City have transformed him into a true pro.

Cameron is currently putting that to good use for the USA after helping to steer them to the semi-finals of the Copa America in the States.

Speaking ahead of their semi against Argentina tomorrow night, the 30 year-old said: "I have become a true professional.

"(You have to know) how to take are of your body and try to prolong your career as long as you can. You try to state at the highest point of your career.

"It's hard every single day (in the EPL). There is a challenge for your position, and if you don't perform you're out.

"It is more ruthless and cut throat there," he told the Houston Chronicle.
