Gavin Bazunu has made his debut for Manchester City U18s.

City have brought forward the signing of Shamrock Rovers goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu, as the 16-year-old made his debut for City's under-18 side on Saturday.

Bazunu, who kept four clean sheets in six appearances for Shamrock, made his first appearance in a City shirt on Saturday against Stoke for the U18s.

Unfortunately for Bazunu, City fell to a 2-1 defeat, but he has been named in the Republic of Ireland U17 squad to face Poland and Belgium next week. He will join fellow City youngsters Joe Hodge and Timi Sobowale in the 20-man squad.
