Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic was delighted to prove the matchwinner at Leicester City.
Mitrovic struck the only goal of the night.
He later said: "It was one of the hardest games we played this season. They're a really good team. We had to grind really hard and I think we deserve it.
"I have five-goal targets. I want to try to reach 15 first and then we'll see. My fifth yellow card today and I will miss a couple of games. I'll try to rest.
"Tonight we showed we can work really hard and fight for each other. We left everything on the pitch and deserved three points.
"It's amazing. When you get promoted the first target is to stay up. I feel we can do a little but more. We don't think ahead. We stay with both feet on the ground. We'll see what happens at the end.
"We love playing under this manager. This is a dream for us. We want to keep the dream going."
