Claudio Ranieri believes that Aleksandar Mitrovic had a tough time settling at Newcastle.
Ranieri was speaking about his star striker, who showed a completely different level of performance as soon as he left the Magpies for Fulham in January last season.
Now he is headed back to Newcastle with Fulham for a Premier League clash this weekend.
Ranieri said in his press conference about the situation: "Aleksandar [Mitrovic] in Newcastle didn't do a very good job because when a player comes from another country it's not easy to adapt immediately to English football.
"But in Fulham he's adapted very, very well. And I hope he can do a very outstanding match.
"I don't know if they will give a warm welcome to Aleksandar, but I hope Aleksandar will make a very good match."
