Former West Ham United star Martin Allen seemed to have made an ill-advised jibe at Andy Carroll's armed robbery incident, during the half-time of the Hammers' 2-0 win over Huddersfield.
In November 2016, Carroll was a subject of an armed robbery, in which robbers wanted his £22,000 watch.
The former England international claimed that the thieves were carrying arms and he feared for his life during the ordeal.
Allen was asked about Carroll's performance in the first-half of the game against Huddersfield when he commented: "At least he turned up on time without his watch."
