Former AC Milan midfielder Stefano Cuoghi doesn't blame Sandro Tonali over his imminent move to Newcastle.
Cuoghi also absolves Milan's American owners for accepting Newcastle's mooted €80m offer.
He told TMW Radio: "There are no longer Moratti and Berlusconi who could buy or keep any player. Now it's impossible to give up certain figures. We have to come to terms with this thing.
"I have serious doubts that this situation will change, just think that the bottom of the Premier League earns more than our first. Regarding his decision, we can say that it took the club a minute to accept and Tonali a minute and a half.
"To take 10 million (euros) a year, you can lie several lives. I can't understand those who go to Saudi if they are young. From a working point of view, however, going to the Premier League is a huge leap."
