Former Feyenoord coach Willem van Hanegem has again called on the club to move for Jordy Clasie.
Van Hanegem feels his old club needs a step up in quality and believes re-signing Southampton midfielder would be a "masterstroke".
He wrote for AD: "There's very little quality on the bench, which is a shame because those in question cost millions.
"And I called for it previously in this column that loaning Jordy Clasie would be a masterstroke, though that might not be so easy."
Indeed, it may be difficult for Feyenoord as Clasie is also interesting Ronald Koeman's Everton ahead of the summer market.
