Former Crystal Palace manager Sam Allardyce has admitted that he would be interested in managing the United States national team.
The United States national team are currently on the lookout for a new manager following an embarrassing failure to reach the 2018 FIFA World Cup and now ex-England boss Allardyce has admitted that he would be interested in managing the North American nation.
Allardyce told talkSPORT: "Yes I would go I think. But I think there is a president elect in January which has stalled the process. If I got the opportunity to speak to the US, then I would look forward to it.
"International football is totally different from Premier League football, it is ten games a year, and there's a huge amount of downtime to go and watch the players and all that. It is not the same day to day pressures as you get in the Premier League."
