Former Brazil under-20 coach Rogerio Micale is surprised by news that Manchester City are willing to sell Gabriel Jesus.
Gabriel Jesus is being linked with Juventus this summer.
“He is a player that every coach in the world wants. He is a player who is very strong 'one against one', is fast and intense not only in a physical manner, but also in his thinking about the game. Gabriel is extremely committed to the team and the system that the coach is using," Micale told ESPN Brazil.
“He has one of the best 'machetes' (incisive diagonal runs) in the world, playing in depth and all the while looking for the opponent's last line to widen for the work between the lines to take place.
"That's why he was bought by City for (Pep) Guardiola's system. They needed someone to add depth, otherwise the game is predictable.
“He plays right in the centre and around the sides, and when he loses the ball, he needs to mark the edge and he does it masterfully."
