Former Bayern Munich defender Medhi Benatia has spoken of working with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.
Benatia, now playing in Qatar with Al Duhail, admits he didn't get along with Guardiola at Bayern.
He recalled to RMC: "Humanly, it is my opinion, but shared by many, Guardiola is someone who does not give much importance to human relationships.
"He talked about cash: 'I bought you, I wanted you. You have such quality, such quality, I need that, I will teach you that, that, that. You are there to do what I say, but we're not here to be friends.'
"Ok… I was leaving Roma, with Rudi (Garcia) to whom I almost did the translations. We weren't friends, but we had a great relationship, and the same with (Francesco) Guidolin (at Udinese). But with Pep, no. He's the boss, he's the one who decides, he's the one who tells you how you should play.
"After a while, it happened to me to say to him: 'listen, you bought me for 30 and some more millions, so it shows I have qualities..."
