Everton winger Yannick Bolasie is delighted with his loan move to Sporting CP.

Bolasie has signed for Sporting to the end of the season.

"I can't explain it. It's a fantastic feeling. Some of the best players in the world have left here and it's an honor to wear this jersey. I never imagined coming to Sporting. I know the story and I know it's a great club. I'm amazed and looking forward to starting," he said.

"I've seen José Alvalade Stadium on television, but it's better live. I'll do my best to honour this jersey. I have a sense of the credibility that comes with it and I have a sense of the pressure, what fans expect.

"Words can't explain what I'm feeling. It's been a long day and I'm happy to sign for Sporting CP.

"I want to thank all the people who helped me. I'm very happy to be here and wear this shirt, I can't wait to express myself."
