Everton are to bid for Ipswich defender Adam Webster.

The Mirror says Everton are lining up a £4m move for Webster.

Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is set for a busy January, with centre-back Webster, 21, his latest target.

Webster only joined Ipswich in the summer from Portsmouth for £750,000 and has been a regular, making 18 appearances.

But he has made a good and quick impression, prompting Tractor Boys boss Mick McCarthy to label him a Premier League defender in waiting.
