Everton are closing on a first signing of the transfer window with Sean Dyche set to be announced as their new manager.
The former Burnley boss will succeed Frank Lampard on a two-and-a-half-year contract in his attempts to steer the Toffees clear of the relegation zone.
The club are yet to make any signings this month but Dyche will be handed funds to improve the team.
And his first target is thought to be Udinese centre-back Rodrigo Becao, says the Daily Express.
It could depend on whether Michael Keane is kept at Goodison Park, with West Ham monitoring the England international's situation at the club.
