Everton striker Vaughan back on Blackpool radar

Everton striker James Vaughan is back on Blackpool's radar today.

The Sun says Holloway wants to complete a transfer-window hat-trick today by taking three new strikers to Blackpool.

The Seasiders boss is after Everton's Vaughan, David Nugent of Portsmouth and Leicester frontman DJ Campbell.

He is committed to a 4-3-3 formation and is chasing more forwards, despite already taking Derby's Luke Varney on loan for the season.

The drawn-out saga over Campbell's return - after a successful loan spell last season - should have a happy ending with a £1.5million deal being finalised today.

Blackpool finally had a third bid accepted and all that remains is for the player to agree terms.
