Everton football chief Marcel Brands posted a scout to Monaco's win at Lille.

Le 10 Sport says Brands had his scout in the stands for ASM's 1-0 triumph.

Lille defender Zeki Celik and midfielder Thiago Mendes were the two players on Everton's radar.

Celik was the primary focus, with the defender's outstanding form this season catching Brands' eye.

Everton are also watching PSG defender Thomas Meunier.
