Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford will meet with manager Marco Silva and director Marcel Brands following an incident in his native Sunderland over the weekend.

The England number one was involved in a brawl in Sunderland city centre in the early hours of Monday morning, with a video circulating on social media showing punches were thrown in the altercation.

Pickford was reportedly insulted by vulgar comments directed to his partner.

Northumbria Police are investigating the scuffle, but it is believed Everton will not reprimand Pickford heavily.

Sky Sports says the club are understanding of the situation and will meet with the 25-year-old to discuss his behaviour.
