Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye has reaffirmed his international commitment this week.
The 33-year-old has been playing for his native Senegal since he was 22, playing 102 times for the country.
Gueye, who will be 34 when the next African Cup of Nations begins in January, told Sene News about his future.
"Why do you want me to stop? Honestly, I don't know, only God knows," he responded when asked if he may retire from Senegal after that tournament.
"We are here to represent our country, to compete. We are competitors and we are always happy to come to the national team.
"The question may arise but personally as long as the body allows, the coach needs me and the people need me, I will respond. So, we'll see, the future will tell us."
