Everton boss David Moyes is hoping to bring in some competition for number one goalkeeper Tim Howard.
The USA international made an error blunder as Norwich City netted a late equalizer in the 1-1 draw Saturday and Moyes is targeting a quality gloveman to provide a healthy fight for positions at Goodison Park.
"Yes, you need competition for every position and everybody has got to make sure they're at the top of their game," Moyes said in the wake of the draw.
"We have to make sure we're not continually making mistakes that lead to goals."
Despite Howard making 196 consecutive Premier League appearances, Moyes is keen to bolster his keeping options and has recently trialed the likes of Alex Manninger (ex-Arsenal, Juventus), Zac MacMath (Philadelphia Union) and Adam Mansour (AJ Auxerre).
