Everton are launching a bid for Sporting CP midfielder Matheus Nunes.

O Jogo says Everton scouted Nunes regularly last season and are now set to make an offer.

An Everton delegation is due in Lisbon to open talks with Sporting for the midfielder.

There are claims Sporting won't sell for less than €50m, knowing Newcastle United are also interested.
