Everton identify two winger targets to replace Gordon

Everton have identified two players as potential replacements for Newcastle United signing Anthony Gordon.

The Athletic says the Toffees have two players on their radar as they search for a new signing before Tuesday's deadline.

One of them is Manchester United winger Anthony Elanga, 20, who would join the Merseyside outfit on loan until the end of the campaign.

Elanga has started just seven games under Erik ten Hag so far this season.

And he could temporarily depart Old Trafford in pursuit of more minutes.

The Sweden international has been linked with a move to PSV where he would play under Red Devils legend Ruud van Nistelrooy.

However, United are low on attacking options and, with little time left in the window, the club are unlikely to let Elanga leave.

Everton's other possible replacement for Gordon is Rennes winger Kamaldeen Sulemana. The Ghana international is a confirmed target for Southampton manager Nathan Jones.
