Everton fullback Leighton Baines wants his side to show their quality in the upcoming Premier League game against Leicester City.

After an up and down start to the season, Everton are hoping they can find some consistency under Marco Silva.

And the Toffees defender is determined to put in the right type of display against Leicester.

Everton are currently 11th with only two wins this season.

"We will be looking to carry on our league form going to Leicester," Baines said to Leicestershire Live.

"There is quality in the team and we are a good side. But we know we have to bring that little bit more consistency which I am sure we will find.

"It is like that sometimes. Obviously we work on these things in training every day. Some days it's flowing and looks good but others it doesn't quite happen. It might just be that that final pass or cross is lacking.

"But (that consistency) is something we know we are capable of and have shown.

"Certainly when you look at the talent we have available to us, we know that there are opportunities and goals in there. It is just a case of producing it on the pitch.

"There was still a lot of quality in the team (against Southampton). That shows the strength in depth that we have got and the options that the manager has available to him."
