Everton centre-half Michael Keane was happy with his performance in England's 5-3 defeat of Kosovo.
Valon Berisha opened the scoring inside the minute mark after Keane's pass to Harry Maguire was picked off by Kosovo who profited by racing into a 1-0 lead.
The No.4 quickly made amends for his mistake as he set up team-mate Raheem Sterling who headed home the equaliser.
Speaking to Evertonfc.com the defender said: "I thought I reacted well [to Kosovo's opener], it was in the back of my head but you have to put it to one side. It was hard to refocus but that is what you have to do. Try to put it to the back of your mind and for five or 10 minutes keep everything simple and build yourself back into the game.
"Thankfully the lads were on it and we managed to get a few goals. We have been working on set plays a lot. The corner was stood up well, so I just attacked it.
"I knew we'd have a few players in the six-yard box, so if I didn't quite get it on target a few would be there to put it in and luckily that is what happened.
"It makes it a little bit easier [to absorb the blow of Kosovo's goal]. As a defender it is vital you don't make mistakes like that. I have done and have to learn from it."
