Everton attacker Jose Baxter is excited about his loan move to Tranmere Rovers.
Highly-regarded at Goodison Park, the 19-year-old Baxter won the Reserves' Player of the Season award last term, and he feels getting out and playing some competitive games will do him plenty of good.
"I came back and felt a bit rusty so it will be good to go out on loan and play a few games," he told evertonfc.com. "Especially with the international break coming up and there being no reserve games or anything like that.
"Tranmere have made a good start this season and I am looking forward to meeting the lads and getting involved - it can only do me good.
"League football is completely different to reserve-team football. Playing for the reserves is great but the result isn't always everything while it obviously makes a huge difference when you know there are three points at stake."
