England have received a boost ahead of the World Cup semi final against Croatia, with Sime Vrsaljko ruled out of the game.
Vrsaljko is the first choice right back for the Croats, but he will be out of the game with a knee injury he suffered against Russia.
It is a blow for coach Zlatko Dalic. But he is already experimenting with different options.
It appears he may go for centre-back Domagoj Vida at right back, with former Tottenham player Vedran Corluka slotting in at centre-back.
England would be delighted if the slower Corluka played, as they would get the likes of Raheem Sterling or Marcus Rashford to run at him all game.
