Barnet boss Martin Allen believes an early goal against his side killed their chances in the Capital One Cup fixture against Wolves.

Bright Enobakhare, 17, fired Wolves into lead after just three minutes at the Molineux before Sheyi Ojo added a second prior to Bira Dembele's late consolation.

Allen said after the game: "We obviously wanted to try and frustrate them in possession but when they score after three minutes it was difficult for our players.

"But they kept going and we expected as the game went on that there would gaps to open up and the gaps duly came.

"We went a little bit more direct and then we had a lot of play in the final third but we couldn't manage to get the equaliser."
