Former Holland striker Youri Mulder expects Manchester United to sign Ajax attacker Antony.

United had an offer of €80m for Antony rejected by Ajax last week.

Mulder said on Rondo: "They can't afford for this to go wrong. Even if Ajax asks for 120 million, they still pay it. The newspapers are full of Manchester United. Everyone laughs at them. They want to get everyone, but they miss everything.

"If we look at the difference between the Eredivisie and the Premier League, it is so big. It is more common that things do not go well than that things do go well."

Marco van Basten also said: "I doubt whether (Cody) Gakpo and Antony can handle the level of the Premier League. In the past, great players from the Netherlands went to Spain much more often than to England. Now you see that it is the other way around."
