Pepe Reina has signed for Villarreal.

The 39 year-old goalkeeper has left Lazio after coming off contract last week and has penned a 12 month deal with the Yellow Submarine.

Reina has a past in Villarreal, he managed to play 147 competitive matches for the club.

Since the goalkeeper left Villarreal, he has represented clubs such as Liverpool, Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Napoli.

Reina arrives just as Sergio Asenjo is released and signs for Real Valladolid.
