Tottenham defender Djed Spence has joined Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais on loan.
The 22-year-old signed from Middlesbrough in the summer after an impressive loan spell at Nottingham Forest.
However, Spence did not get many chances to shine under coach Antonio Conte this term.
Now he will be given a chance to get regular first team football in Ligue 1.
Spence is surplus to requirements at Spurs for the moment, given the signing of Pedro Porro from Sporting CP.
The club managed to get the Porro deal over the line on deadline day, and then sent Spence to Rennais.
