Joao Teixeira has completed a transfer from Liverpool to FC Porto in what he has described as a 'dream move'.

The 23-year-old midfielder has returned home to Portugal, signing a four-year deal with Porto, having spent the past four years at Liverpool.

Teixeira joins the Portuguese giants on a free transfer and is over the moon to be heading back the country he left for Anfield in 2012.

"I am very happy," former Sporting Lisbon youngster Teixeira told Porto's official website.

"It's a dream for me to play in this great club.

"I have aspired to wear this shirt because I was used to seeing FC Porto win over the years.

"I hope everything goes well and I want to give my best."
