Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Jean-Philippe Mateta.

The 24-year-old Frenchman has signed from Mainz on a permanent contract.

Mateta has been with Palace since January 2021, when he signed on an 18-month loan.

Palace have now made the agreement permanent, as Mateta has impressed in his 14 appearances since signing on loan.

The London club have also secured Luke Plange from Derby County, but he is heading back to the Rams on loan until the end of the season.
