Former Lazio captain Paolo di Canio feels Roma fans can be positive this seasonn.

After their draw with Torino on Sunday, Di Canio insists fans can see what Roma coach Jose Mourinho is building.

He said, "When Roma arrives in the area (Romelu) Lukaku becomes devastating, this solution will be decisive for Roma this year.

"In the open field in the last year and a half he is a bit static, he runs little with the vertical Roma. This could perhaps extend his career a little."

On the Roman team's negative moment, Di Canio added: "Roma is trying to do something more, we see different solutions, different players have arrived and it shows on the pitch.

"Lazio, on the other hand, at this moment is a distant relative of last year's. Close on the table, but at the moment the quality is clearly different."
