QPR's move for Toronto FC striker Jermain Defoe today IS ON.
Defoe is in London recovering from a groin strain and the sacking of Ryan Nelsen has unsettled the former Tottenham striker.
QPR are in talks today over a deal for the forward, who only left Spurs last season for TFC.
TFC have warned QPR are not the only club in for Defoe.
West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United are also interested in the England international. Defoe is expected to be fully fit by the end of the month.
