Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha has stated that he is looking to lead Cote D'Ivoire into the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Cote D'Ivoire square off against Morocco this week in a winner-takes-all African zone qualifying clash and ahead of the game, Zaha has stated that he is currently looking to guide the Elephants to the World Cup by helping them claim a victory on the day.

Zaha said: "This is my first time back and it's nice to be here. When I arrived the reception was crazy, I'd left here as no-one and come back as a hero, and I feel like I haven't even done anything yet.

"I'm looking forward to the game because it's an opportunity for me to prove my worth and show up in big games. Big players step up in big games, and I want to be one of those players that my team can rely on."
