Crystal Palace fullback Patrick van Aanholt has no regrets over his move to Chelsea.

At 16, the Dutchman left PSV Eindhoven to sign with Chelsea's academy.

"I already had a youth contract at PSV when I was sixteen. They said to me: you are going to train with the firsts," he told Bij Andy in de auto.

"But that was only in preseason, then I joined the seconds.

"So I thought: yes, do I want to be treated like this? Then I just left. Such a step like Chelsea never comes twice. You just have to take it."
