Crystal Palace fullback Joel Ward says the club's principles haven't changed over the nine years he's been with the club.
Ward, who has signed a two-year contract, has emphasised attitude and hard work as the cornerstones of Crystal Palace's ethos, and the key to success for emerging youngsters at the club.
“Obviously a lot has changed [since Ward arrived in 2012], but there have also been things that remained the same," he told the club's website.
“What the club stands for, the ethos of the club. That culture has remained the same.
“There have been comings and goings, there have been changes in facilities and the way things are done, and obviously being in the Premier League for the large majority of the time there have been some enormous changes: you can see that with the new Academy."
