Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis is delighted with their loan deal for Manchester City midfielder George Evans.
Evans has signed until January.
Davis said: "He is a young lad that has played for the England youth team. He is the captain of the under-21 side at his club and plays just in front of the back four.
"He is a good size and can manipulate the ball well. We want to give him some experience of first-team football.
"He can play the way we want to play and will hopefully make a difference for us."
