Juan Agudelo has impressed Celtic manager Neil Lennon early in his trial with the Glasgow giants.
The 20-year old Chivas USA forward has been training with the Scottish champions during the MLS offseason and so far has caught the eye of Lennon who is keen to have him remain at the Lennoxtown training ground for a little while longer.
"He has looked very good, we have been very impressed with him," Lennon told the BBC's website. "We are hoping he will stay around for a few more days and we can talk with his representatives."
However, Chivas communications manager Rodrigo Ochoa told MLSsoccer.com that the club has no intention of selling Agudelo, who has represented the USA on 20 occasions, to Celtic.
"For us, the club, for the organization, Juan Agudelo is just keeping fit training with Celtic, and that's it. There are no plans for the club to take any kind of transfer," Ochoa said.
"He's taking advantage of the vacation time that we have right now, and he's training, keeping fit."
