Chelsea managerial target Maurizio Sarri is considering a move to Zenit St. Petersburg this summer, according to the London Evening Standard.

Sarri is highly rated in Europe, especially after the impressive season he put together at Napoli this term. They came very close to winning the Serie A title off Juventus.

The manager has a release clause at Napoli, which is valued at £7m. But it runs out soon - and Chelsea have not made up their mind on what to do with Antonio Conte.

Sarri's agent spoke about the possible move to Chelsea or Zenit.

Recently Sarri's agent, Alessandro Pellegrini, said to The Times: "We haven't received any offers from Chelsea, Tottenham, AC Milan or Zenit. Is it possible that Sarri leaves Napoli? To secure the services of my client, a club has to pay the release clause."
