Chelsea alerted as Trossard makes Brighton contract decision

Leandro Trossard is ready to run down his contract at Brighton.

The winger has entered the final six months of his deal and could leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Brighton do have an option to extend his terms until 2024.

But Het Belang van Limburg says Trossard has continuously rejected the opportunity to sign fresh terms.

And the report states the 28-year-old believes he's now ready to sign for a bigger club.

As a result, this could be Trossard's fourth and final season on the South Coast.

Chelsea are reportedly interested in the star with the possibility of reuniting with Graham Potter surely a tempting one.

Trossard was one of Potter's first signings as Brighton boss and is keen on bringing him to Stamford Bridge.
