Celtic's Pukki: I learnt plenty from Huntelaar, Raul at Schalke

Celtic striker Teemu Pukki is looking to continue his development as a highly promising goalscorer now he has settled with the Scottish champions.

The 23-year old Finland international joined the Bhoys from Schalke in the summer and is looking to bring to Glasgow what he learnt from two quality attackers in Germany.

"Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is one of the best goalscorers in the world and even watching him in training and in games you can learn from him," he told the Daily Record after scoring a goal in each of his first two league outings.

"I also played with Raul who is another good striker to learn from.

"But at my age it is important to play and develop.

"I wanted to go somewhere I could be more part of the team and where the coach really trusts me. At Schalke it wasn't really like that.

"It has been a great start for me (at Celtic) and I hope I can keep it going."
