Manchester City academy chief Jim Cassell has paid credit to manager Sven Goran Eriksson for the support he has shown in the club's youngsters.
Before last night's FA Youth Cup triumph, Cassell said: "Sven's been a terrific supporter of the youth team. He's shown that by giving Academy graduates like Kasper Schmeichel, Ched Evans and Shaleum Logan their City first-team debuts this season.
"The production of players is the No.1 priority for us, but the blue riband of youth football is without a doubt the FA Youth Cup."
