Burnley defender Michael Keane is reportedly the subject of interest from Newcastle United and Everton.

The Sun is reporting Toon boss Steve McLaren is eager to reunite with the 22-year-old whom he managed during his time at Derby County in 2013/14.

Everton are also said to be keeping a close eye on the former Manchester United player.

Keane is understood to be enthusiastic about a return to the Premier League, having experienced relegation with Burnley last season.
