Bryan Gil says he's working hard to earn more minutes with Tottenham.
The Spain winger saw action as a second-half substitute in last night's draw with Champions League opponents Sporting CP.
He later told EFE: "I'm working to give my best level, to do well when it's my turn. It's the motivation I have, to improve every day and contribute as much as possible. In England it's a different style of play than in the LaLiga, more physical, more back and forth and I think it tests me, with other situations, another game. I think I'm getting better."
A deadline day return to Valencia fell through for Gil, but he says: "It's something that has already happened. Now I have to focus on where I am. At my club, Tottenham, give my best here and forget about something that has already happened.
"I'm focused on the present. I'm not thinking about the future. I'm focused on improving and playing as much as possible."
