Brighton & Hove Albion have confirmed the signing of Sam Baldock from Bristol City.
The 25-year old forward has penned a four-year deal with the Championship club after spending the past two seasons in Bristol.
Seagulls boss Sami Hyypia has praised the signing of the former West Ham United attacker Baldock who will bring with him a natural goalscoring quality to the south coast club.
"Sam was one of our key summer attacking targets," said Hyypia of Baldock.
"I'm delighted we have now completed the transfer and to be able to welcome him to the club.
"Alongside our existing forwards, he will give us another attacking option and we hope he will continue to score goals for Brighton.
"He's a predator, instinctive in front of goal and his career goal record is excellent. He's played and scored goals at this level, and we are confident he can be a major threat for us."
During his time at Bristol City, former MK Dons ace Baldock scored 36 goals in 93 appearances for the League One club.
