Brighton boss De Zerbi: Dunk improving week by week

Brighton captain Lewis Dunk has been praised by manager Roberto de Zerbi.

De Zerbi admits he's delighted working with Dunk.

He said, "The surprise of Lewis Dunk is week by week he is improving.

“At his age, he is not so young but his behaviour is incredible.

“I spoke with him last week and I told him the improvement is big.

“He is one of the secrets of Brighton.

“I hope for him he can play this summer in European competition for England because I think he is ready.

“I don't want to give any advice or anything but I hope for him because it would be great news for us, for Brighton, for me, for the players of Brighton. I think he can be ready.

“I think he is enjoying playing football. He has a big passion for football and this is the best quality of Lewis.

“He has a technique of a midfielder, he is able to command the play from the back. He is a complete player."
