Brighton are edging closer to landing Swansea City boss Graham Potter.
The Guardian says the south coast club have activated the release clause of more than £2m in Potter's contract and he now wants to leave to take his Premier League chance.
Brighton sacked controversially sacked Chris Hughton last week and having quickly set their sights on Potter they now appear set to land their man.
The 43-year-old was appointed as Swansea boss after their relegation from the Premier League last summer, leaving Swedish side Ostersund to return to England.
He led Swansea to 10th in the Championship table during a rebuilding year, prompting him to attract top flight interest from the Seagulls.
