Bolton enjoying challenge at Melbourne Heart

Melbourne Heart goalkeeper Clint Bolton admits he is thoroughly enjoying the challenge of playing at a brand new A-League club.

The 35-year old made the move from the championship-winning Sydney FC in the off-season to experience life with a new outfit and says that although it hasn't been the most ideal change in terms of results, he is enjoying every minute of it.

"There have been a few moments you'd like to change but overall I feel like I've just carried on from what I was doing last year at Sydney - and if anything, stepped it up a little bit," he told Australian Football Weekly.

And Bolton said a new relationship with a new goalkeeping coach (Peter Zois) has also been a positive.

"I've really enjoyed the training here at Melbourne," he added. "The partnership is working out really well, so that's made the adjustment period really easy for me and I'm just enjoying being a part of the club and enjoying the new challenge.

"There's always a chance it's going to be a totally different training set-up to what you're used to and having a coach that has totally different techniques, but that wasn't the case when I came here.

"Zois, his coaching methods are along the same lines as 'Filo' (John Filan) at Sydney last season, so it was an easy adjustment really."
